ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Eladia

01 - Eladia Romero - Headshot Red + Blue_edited.jpg

WHO I AM

My name is Eladia Romero-Rodriguez and I am a mother, daughter, resident, volunteer, longtime public servant, and community advocate for Leominster.

My daughter is a recent graduate of Fitchburg State University and my son is a sixth grader at SkyView Middle School.  My children were both born in Leominster.  I chose to raise my children in Leominster because it is a great place to live and raise a family!

I am also the daughter of an aging mother and I understand the challenges and responsibility that comes from caring for a parent. I want to see our aging neighbors in Leominster live with the dignity and quality of life they deserve.

A CALL TO SERVE

For over twenty years I have worked as a public servant assisting residents of Leominster with resolving issues with the Social Security Administration, Medicare, Veterans Affairs, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Passport Agency and Unemployment.

I have been a longtime advocate for some of our most vulnerable community members.  Most recently, I have been working alongside our nurses and legislators to save the Labor and Delivery Unit at UMASS Memorial Health Alliance Hospital-Leominster Campus.

I have established relationships with liaisons on the local, state and federal government levels to connect residents and business owners to resources and cut through the red tape.

Simply put, I care about each and every member of our community and have always worked to help anyone in need.

MY WHY

VOTE FOR OUR FUTURE

I want to serve as your Ward 1 City Councilor to ensure that all voices from the community are heard and represented when decisions are being made that impact ordinary citizens like you and me.  I want to ensure that our schools have the resources they need to provide the best education possible for our children and that our police and fire departments have what they need to keep us safe. I want to make sure that our aging neighbors can stay in their homes and have the dignity and quality of life they deserve and that working class people have access to affordable housing.

Leominster’s demographics have changed over the past couple of decades and I want to ensure that our city government is reflective of those changes because REPRESENTATION MATTERS!

I respectfully ask for your vote on November 4, 2025 because a vote for me is a vote for our future!
